The project
This girls' bedroom brings two sisters together in one space, each with her own bed, sharing storage, a vanity and a study corner. The palette plays on burgundy, powder pink and beige, with deliberate softness.
The two beds are joined by a long scalloped headboard upholstered in textured beige fabric. Behind it, a burgundy wall holds a framed illustration, next to a strip of floral wallpaper edged with white fluted mouldings and a line of light. Sculptural burgundy bedside tables, pom-pom cushions and a large round textured rug complete the scene.
The wardrobe combines fluted-glass doors with bronze frames, lit from inside, and white fluted doors. Next to it, a vanity with a lit mirror, a burgundy drawer and a pink pouf creates a corner of its own.
The study corner sits in the angle by the window: an L-shaped white desk, a burgundy drawer unit, a lit burgundy bookcase, pink shelves and the same floral wallpaper, for a bright and personal workspace.
